HOMI Milano

HOMI Milano

At September 11th I travelled to lovely Milano, Italy, to present my jewels at the trade show Homi Milano which took place from 12 – 15 september.

I’ve visited Milano a couple of times already, mostly for the Design Week, and once during holidays. But this was the first time it was for “business”. With a suitcase packed with my jewels and presentation, I flew towards this new adventure.
When I arrived at the Rho Fiera Milano exhibition centre, I was happily surprised by the result of the presentation of “The Jewellery Lounge” the area where I presented my brand.
This designer jewellery area was set up by Amusingold, a web magazine dedicated to the jewelry world.

THE JEWELLERY LOUNGE by Amusingold, was in its second edition of the innovative platform of contemporary jewellery intended to accommodate a selected shortlist of brands and designers in the international fashion jewelry. A “showcase” exhibition born from contamination and from the intersection of two universes of great excellence – jewelry and fashion.

Here you can see some snapshots I made of my stand!

Spotting my name right there, between all those names… 😉

And a big thank you to the lady’s of Amusingold, who selected me to join the Jewellery Lounge area, and organized this section. Also Frederica made this lovely photo of her trying on the Geom Gold Ring in my stand!

The Rho Fiera Milano exhibition centre was my home for 4 days, and had to make take this snapshot..!

I also took some time to explore the amazing centre of Milano and the obligatory Duomo di Milano.

One evening I also visited the WORLD EXPO Milan 2015, which is now being held in Milano, close to the Fiera Milano expo centre the HOMI show took place… so I had to go!

One of my favorites was the pavilion of Estonia, with this wooden geometric floor!

I hope you enjoyed my snapshots! And I would really recommend you to visit Milano if you have never visited it. It’s a city with a nice atmosphere, and of course delicious food. Also you can go many directions from Milano, like the Como Lake, which is a beautiful area.

Ciao! Danielle
